We stayed here over Memorial Day weekend on the way to Mt. Rushmore. It was a very clean, cozy place to spend a night. The owner was there to greet us and check us in to our room when we arrived and it really did feel like we were 'staying at Grandmas'. I would recommend this place to anyone. We didn't have a chance to enjoy the hot tub on site but maybe next time |

What a delightful motel! It is off the main roads so is secluded and quiet. Very clean and comfortable. Iva is very friendly - makes you feel very welcome and sincerely wants you to enjoy your stay. I definitely recommend this location! |

We stayed at the Pines in Sept. It's a lovely, small motel. I recommend this motel to anyone looking for a quiet stay at a reasonable rate. |

Your place was the "bright spot" of our vacation. We enjoyed the coziness, comfy feel of the room. We left very refreshed & rested.
They even recovered an earring that I had lost. Their kindness & hospitality was much appreciated. I would certainly have no hesitation in recommending your motel...a home away from home. |

We love our room! My two sons (6 and 9) think this is one of the best places we've stayed. We're at the end of a car travel vacation and we're very pleasantly surprised by the super clean, and very cute room with a queen bed and two twin beds. The owners are so nice and friendly, I wish we could have toured all of our sites from this one location. I feel like we're visiting family, and I would recommend this motel to any one. |

I was traveling with my adult daughter and we stayed in the "suite" (which is more like a two bedroom house with a full kitchen and living room!) The cost was amazingly reasonable and Iva made us feel so comfortable. We felt that she was looking out for us, two women traveling alone. We felt like we were staying with family.
The grounds are really well maintained with manicured lawns that the deer love to visit. The Pines also provides cable TV and free Internet so I was totally connected. It's a great jumping off point for all the area attractions. |

Received a call from our daughter Treva and her husband who is spending a night at the Pines Motel and she said it was almost as she remembered 30 years ago when we lived in Newcastle. Her husband Richard is a first time visitor to the great city and heading to the Black Hills for the first time. We have always found the Pines to be quiet the the owners wonderful. Enjoy great Wyoming hospitality!! |

What a great place to stay on our tour of the Black Hills! We discovered it, no help to the Chamber of Commerce who sent us to other "less reputable" places. After driving around a bit, we saw the sign "Quiet and Secluded" and boy, they don't lie! Deer, koi, a rabbit! Beautiful animals, beautiful setting, and gracious hosts. I recommend these Q-tip clean rooms to everyone who travels that way! Thanks again to the Carter's, you do an amazing job! |

What a great time we had at the Pines Motel in Newcastle. We were treated like family and everything the web showed was as it is. We'll be returning without a doubt to this clean, quite, haven. |
